The Finals Day for the Captain's Trophy Interclub Knockout competition was played at Drayton Park GC on one of the hottest days of this year. The competing teams of Oxford Ladies & Frilford Heath and Studley Wood & Tadmarton Heath took their matches to the final holes in the morning's semi-finals. After some exciting play, the eventual winners were Frilford and Tadmarton.

The afternoon session saw more fiercely contested matches with both teams showing signs of feeling the heat whilst continuing to produce quality golf. Frilford finally got the upperhand and managed to come out on top.

Drayton Park GC provided us with a very warm welcome and excellent hospitality. Our thanks to Ian and all his staff who made the day extremely enjoyable.
