Welcome to the Junior Section  

OLCGA promotes golf for girls aged from 6 to 18 at all levels throughout the county. 

We provide –

  • Junior Competitions for girls of all ages and ability
  • County Junior Team Matches - a great opportunity for girls to represent Oxfordshire in matches & events against other counties
  • Academy Coaching - A chance for girls to have fun, meet other players and learn from the county’s best coaches
  • Monthly Golf Days - learn through playing - supervised games on a short course and a chance to learn rules and etiquette whilst working towards a handicap. 
  • Newsletters & regular news updates - to keep everyone involved.

A message from our 2025 Junior Captain, Kirsty Soffe.

I started my girls’ golf journey when I was 10, and I was lucky enough to join the county at Kirtlington on a very wet and windy day! 

I’m truly honoured to be the 2025 junior girls’ county captain, and I’m excited for the year ahead. Through the County, I’ve made some incredible friends who share my love for the game. 

Being part of the team, with the support of our amazing junior organisers, has given me the chance to play on a variety of new courses, each with its own unique challenges and experiences. I look forward to the opportunity to play with all of you over the coming year and share an enjoyable season together.
