County Championships

Badgemore Golf Club hosted the County Championships along with the Mid Silver Championships, on Thursday 15th July, 12 clubs were represented from Oxfordshire. The course was in great condition and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
The weather on the day was cooler than forecast and the sun shone intermittently throughout the day.
Congratulations to Millie Anderson on being the County Champion & Silver Medal winner, Lydia Avann on being Nett & Lucy Davies Trophy winner and Sarah Hillas on being Senior Trophy winner. Well done to all the other competitors.
Thank you to The Lady President, Maggie Edwards for starting the ladies on the 1st tee, thanks also go to Margaret Brennan and Carole Lee for their support throughout the long day. Sue McKeon was the England Golf referee for the day.
