A new day and a refreshed Oxfordshire Team were raring to go once again. We were led out by the very experienced Kate Evans & Maggie Findlay who fought a very close match and took home a deserved point winning 2 & 1. W & H took the second foursomes match making the match level.

Viki Hart was first out in the singles and after a great tussle with some fabulous golf made a great half. Niki Sutton showed some real grit and determination after going down early in the match she fought her way back but just missed out in the end. That left Millie Anderson needing a win to half the match. What a tremendous tussle it was, after overshooting the green on the last Millie made a spectacular up and down to secure the win to secure the half.

CMW Day 2 PM vs Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire was always going to be a really tough nut to crack and they had already won their first 3 matches.

Kate Evans and Maggie Findlay lead out the foursomes and found themselves against the finest that Bucks have to offer in Thalia Kirby & Megan Denis. In an impressive run they were A/S though the first nine, even going 1up at one stage. The par 5s finally took their toll but they played some superb golf to stay in touch. The best of the singles was Viki Hart who had a great battle but narrowly missed out on a point despite playing some superb golf.
