County Shield 2023

Near perfect conditions for golf resulted in some very good scores at Witney Lakes today with 18 teams competing for the County Shield over 27 holes. The eventual winners were Chris Lynch and Denise Santilli (Witney Lakes) who took full advantage of the cooler weather to win on their first entry in a County competition with an impressive 63 points. 

The course was in beautiful condition and the greens were challenging with a speed of 10.5 on the stimp metre.
