Elizabeth is our Junior County Champion!

We were delighted  to host our Junior Girls’ Championship at Oxford Golf Club with a small group of just 8 girls this year.  The afternoon began rather dubiously with showers but fortunately it was not long before the sun shone. The course was challenging with quick greens testing the putting; nevertheless some wonderful golf shots were played by all girls! As always the girls played in a very sporting manner and remained cheery throughout.

Our 2022 Girls' Champion is Elizabeth Ball from Frilford Heath scoring a gross 84, with our Junior Captain Freya Coughlan coming second with a gross 86. Our Nett Champion  was also Elizabeth with a nett 75 and Freya was second with a  nett 80. In the Stableford Competition Scarlett Reeves was our winner scoring 31 points and playing in her first 18 hole County Competition. Congratulations to everyone who played.
