The morning foursomes were lead out by Karen Pollard (Henley) & debutant Mandy Nall (Huntercombe), followed by Mairi Weir (Henley) & Nikki Halsall (Kirtlington), lastly Tracy Roberts (Frilford) & our second debutant Emma Whiteley (Huntercombe). 

Mairi & Nikki played some great golf to win 6 & 5, Tracy & Emma had a very close battle all the way to the 18th, leaving Tracy with an awkward 6ft putt to halve the match. Tracy held her nerve and made the putt leaving the scores at the halfway stage 1 ½ to 1 ½.

Tracy made way for Maggie Findlay (Friford) in the afternoon singles. Buckinghamshire had brought a strong team once again. The highlights of the afternoon were a super win for Mairi Weir to contribute her second point of the day. Maggie Findlay had a brilliant battle up to the 16th Hole (pictured above) but just lost out. Nikki Halsall needed to win the 17th and 18th to take a half point. A birdie on the last won the last ½ point of the day. 

The final result was a win for Bucks 6-3.
