Oxfordshire Junior Girls celebrate their second win in 7 days!

On Sunday 6th April, in perfect golfing conditions, a team of 8 Oxfordshire Juniors took part in the 2025 BB&O Team Stableford at Oakland Park Golf Club in Bucks.

This is a real team event, with the best 6 stableford scores from the 8 girls going towards the final team total. There were also prizes for the first and second best individual scores on the day.

Suffice to say that our Junior Captain, Kirsty Soffe, made her second winning speech of the week as Oxfordshire beat Buckinghamshire by 3 points to pick up the trophy - and there was also a celebration as a new face to the team this year, Anoushka Francis (left with County President Christine), picked up the prize for second place (just won on count back from another Oxon Junior, Ava Fegan-Smith).

Big thank you to all the team for playing brilliantly - Kirsty, Anoushka, Ava, Phoebe Simons, Ali Dolamore, Issy O'Neill, Amelia Sambrook and Sienna Fegan-Smith. Fantastic start to the County golfing season for the Junior Girls!
