Success for Ava at Junior British Masters

Congratulations to Ava Fegan-Smith who this week won the Junior British Masters Under 12  9 hole competition on the Robert Rock Tour. The event was was held at The Belfry and Ava played the Brabazon Course from the red tees. The course has lots of water and bunkers to negotiate but clearly these were not a problem for Ava! It was very close for all 9 holes but Ava won on the 9th - a par 4 hole of 348 yards where she sunk a 7 foot putt for a 5 nett eagle! Ava is currently top of the Order of Merit for her section so we look forward to more news throughout the year. Well done Ava - what a great start to the year!
