On a very wet and windy day at North Oxford GC, Wendy Smith from Studley Wood GC returned a magnificent gross of 91 (nett 67) to take home the Bronze Championship Trophy and the Bronze Medal.Also in the prizes were Ruth Mackay from Drayton Park, Madeleine Deller from Studley Wood and Maureen Rhymes from North Oxford. Well done to everyone who played in such challenging weather condtions and our thanks to North Oxford Golf Club for looking after us so well.

Congratulations to Niki Sutton from Frilford Heath GC. After 36 holes at Burford GC, she posted a winning gross score of 164 and won on countback from Morag Broom (Henley) and Millie Anderson (Badgemore Park) to take her first County Championship.In the Mid-silver event, Melanie Mutch from Burford GC won the Scratch Trophy with a gross score of 90, winning on count back from Jane Hackett (Tadmarton Heath). Bamberger 2021Congratulations to Linda Dowzall (Hadden Hill) and Caroline Pearce (Frilford Heath) for reaching the final which was played at North Oxford GC on October 20th. Ann Starkey TrophyOctober 14 saw the semi/finals of the Ann Starkey Trophy at The Springs. Luckily a bright, dry day welcomed us as did their captain and delegate.The morning saw Oxford Ladies play Drayton Park and North Oxford play Feldon Valley - well done to all for reaching this stage. Captains Trophy Friday 8th October at Kirtlington Golf ClubOn a grey Misty morning the semi finals of the 2021 Captains Trophy began with Feldon Valley taking on Henley and Frilford Heath playing Tadmarton Heath.There were lots of smiles and laughter on the first tee, the matches were played in a great spirit. EG Betterball held at Copt Heath GC.Congratulations to Jenny Stanier from Badgemore Park GC who along with Muriel Quinsac (formerly Henley GC but now Castle Royale, Berkshire) 6 counties are represented - Oxfordshire,Warwickshire , Worcester & Herefordshire,Northamptonshire. Buckinghamshire & Berkshire.Both ladies were presented with a silver plate engraved with all the previous winners back to 1963 and vouchers. A fantastic achievement.

The Cotswold Club hosted the County Shield, on Tuesday 20th July 4 clubs were represented from Oxfordshire. The course was in great condition and everyone enjoyed themselves.
