Congratulations to North Oxford GC on winning the Ann Starkey Trophy. The afternoon final against Feldon Valley GC was played in great spirit by both teams despite some heavy rain. The final of the South Midlands 2nd team league was hosted by Oxfordshire at Badgemore Park GC on Thursday 11th August. Another incredibly hot day with amber weather warnings to add to the challenge! Congratulations to Grace Beardsley who won our Summer Meeting which was held at Drayton Park Golf Club on Monday 1st August.Drayton Park provided plenty of challenges with water, trees and long grass but this did not phase Grace who scored a handicap reducing 38 points, a very impressive score when you add in  the oppressive, muggy heat on Monday.
